Après le succès de « Versions Originales », Thierry Crommen sort son troisième CD sur le label homerecords.be, intitulé « Diversions». L’harmoniciste persiste et signe avec ses musiciens de nouvelles compositions riches en contrastes, tantôt limpides et enjouées, tantôt puissantes et lyriques. Avec Chris De Pauw à la guitare acoustique, Erno au piano et Achim Tang à la contrebasse, il promène son petit instrument aux confins du Folk, du Jazz et même de la Pop… Explorant avec naturel ces différents styles, y apportant toujours sa touche personnelle, c’est une véritable bouffée d’air frais que Thierry apporte à l’harmonica !

Thierry Crommen creates a change by releasing his third album on the label homerecords.be, called « Diversions ». After his acclaimed former opus « Versions Originales », the belgian harmonica player continues with totally new material, written and played with his quartet : Chris De Pauw on acoustic guitar, Erno on piano, and Achim Tang on double bass. The result is a very contrasted repertoire, sometimes light and optimistic, sometimes lyrical and deeply moving. Leading the listener to the crossroads of Folk, Jazz and even Pop, Thierry, who is equally comfortable with all of these different styles, always adds his personal touch and really blows a breath of fresh air in the harmonica!

Naar het succes van « Versions Originales » zet Thierry met zijn derde CD « Diversions » de lijn voort met eigen nieuwe composities, van vlot en feestelijk tot krachtig, energiek en lyrisch. Met Chris De Pauw (akoestische gitaar), Erno (piano) en Achim Tang (contrabas) biedt Thierry subtiele variaties op thema’s uit folk, jazz en zelfs pop aan. Thierry onderzoekt op een natuurlijke en tegelijk persoonlijke manier al deze verschillende stijlen ; hij blaast werkelijk een frisse wind door de mondharmonica !
