Four female voices fusing into warm, bright and colorful harmonies. Hella is an a cappella quartet from Gent, Belgium.

With their debut album "Meeremin" they highlight the strength and vulnerability of the female voice.

Inspired by women who have used their voices throughout the centuries, Hella’s music gives that expression a contemporary meaning. By interweaving past and present, the music of Hella blends tradition with original compositions, arrangements in Dutch. 

In January 2024, Hella was awarded the Flanders Folk Award for Most Promising Band, recognizing their unique sound and potential.
